Insert col / rows are now explicit in menus and toolbars
When you insert columns or rows, the cells take the formatting of the corresponding cells in the next column to left or the row above.
Single column or row
Using the Sheet menu:
Select a cell, column, or row where you want the new column or row inserted.
Go to Sheet on the main menu bar and select either Insert Columns> Columns Left [Columns Right] or Insert Rows> Rows Above [Rows Below].
Using the mouse:
Select a column or row where you want the new column or row inserted.
Right-click the column or row header.
Select Insert Columns Left[Insert Columns Right] or Insert Rows Above[Insert Rows Below] from the context menu.
Multiple columns or rows
Multiple columns or rows can be inserted at once rather than inserting them one at a time.
Highlight the required number of columns or rows by holding down the left mouse button on the first one and then dragging across the required number of identifiers.
Proceed as for inserting a single column or row above.
